In Eve, Corporations (like guilds or clans in other games) may be autonomous or part of an Alliance. Both corporations and alliances can declare war on other corporations and alliances in Eve. This costs the entity that is declaring war isk. When the war declaration (wardec) isn't paid, the wardec will come to an end.
What wardecs mean to new pilots:
When a corporation is wardec'd all members of that corporation can be attacked *anywhere* by the entity issuing the wardec. This include *all systems* regardless of system security rating. Concord (NPC police in hi-sec) will not help when attacked.
This is a major consideration for new pilots wanting to run missions or mining in hi-sec space. You would not want to join a wardec'd corporation.
Rubber Bullet Inc. is designed to offer new pilots ways to interact within a corporation environment and, at the same time, insulate them from wardecs. To do this, we have sister corporations (based on player interests and corporate divisions) outside of an alliance format. At the same time, if you're looking for a wardec environment, we offer that as well and have an infrastructure designed to reward success.
