RBAca is our newbro academy. That doesn't mean it's just for newbies and people that want to help newbies though, anyone's welcome.
We aim to provide a wide variety of content for people, we're trying not to limit ourselves to just missions, just wormholes or just mining, or just anything. We want to give our players a wide variety of activities to do and let people dip their toes in any of the content that's available in EVE.
So that's a pretty tall order for a small corp (though we're growing!), how do we aim to provide so much content?
Well that's where friends come in. Obviously we're working together with the other corps in the RUBUL group, immediately that opens up opportunities for industry, PvP and WH ops as well as potential help if people are stuck on missions and always advice. Outside of the corp though we have more friends that are involved in other areas or are more involved in certain areas that we aren't so focused on (e.g. friends that live in wormholes, while we might just go in for a day or so). This gives us access to even more areas of gameplay that we otherwise wouldn't be able to join in with.
Respect and working together are two things that we really focus on. Yes, EVE is a universe full of scammers and scumbags, but that's a reason that your allies should be even more important! With that in mind we really want to be good to each other and seen by other people as a nice corp. No one wants to be thought of as idiots because they wear a certain corp tag and we're no different. Scamming, attacking and abusing other players within the corp is NOT allowed and will result in the offender reimbursing the victim's loss or facing tougher consequences.
Some other facts about us:
- We use a forum for general information both about us and to communicate across corps. (this one!)
- We have our own Mumble server for voice comms. Although downloading Mumble and joining us isn't a strict requirement to join the corp, it will be needed to at least listen to join in with certain activities.
- If you lose a T1 ship cruiser or smaller, we'll replace it. Just send us your loss mail and what happened, we'll replace it and if we feel that there's any advice we can give to stop it happening again, we'll try and help out.
- We have various resources available. A small portion is available in the resources section but we have more available in our main forum that when you join, you will be given access to. All written by our members!
- We will buy your ores! We buy for Jita -10% price, that 10% works in a similar way to the 7% tax that our ratters pay. The extra bit is to cover the costs of moving stuff around for our indy guys. Just set up a contract in the area that we operate in and we'll sort the rest.
- We do have corp tax (it's currently at 7%). The reason for this is we have SRP so you guys benefit from it directly. We also plan on putting up POSes if needed in lowsec systems where we might be working and anticipate other expenses that the taxes will cover. We also plan to introduce at least partial SRP for more expensive ships in the future, the taxes pay towards that.
- Our indy guys are always available if you need something special building. Just send us a mail and work out a deal.
- We try and be as transparent as we operate as possible. We don't like secrets and we're always willing to listen to you guys about what you think we should be doing. Obviously there might be some things that are supersecret and only leadership knows about, but in general we will try to share everything with you.
- In game we're not actually an alliance. This might sound unusual, but it actually prevents the whole group getting wardecd in one go. If someone wants to wardec our indy corp, we won't be at war! Similarly, if we get wardecd, our indy guys can still keep operating normally to provide you guys with the stuff you need to do what you're doing.
- We act as a feeder corp to the other RUBUL corps. Once you have experience in EVE, have the training to move onto more advanced activities and have shown good activity and loyalty within the corp, you can be talk to us about being moved into the appropriate corp that suits you.
